The map follows the path from the cabin (green icon) to the lake (red icon). The walk is approximately 2000ft at a relatively shallow incline. The Story

A Cabin with a History

Like most cabins, ours has a distinct personality and history of its own – a story. Purchased in late 1960’s by Wally and Joanne Olfert, it was used primarily as summer retreat for the family. It wasn’t until three generations had grown that the family decided to share their joy and experiences with travelers such as yourself. During your stay, you will notice that the Olfert family has preserved the heritage of their family with decorations and pictures.

If this is your first time to Hume Lake, you are in for a real treat. We suggest reading up on the current activities before going.
